For tattoos and piercings

1. These terms apply to all tattoos and piercings carried out at Palim Palim Tattoo, regardless of the individual artist.
2. Contractual obligations relating to a tattoo or piercing arise exclusively between the commissioned tattoo artist or piercer and the customer.
3. Minors: Children and adolescents are not tattooed. Piercings for customers aged 14 to 15 require the presence of at least one parent or legal guardian and, where applicable, written consent from the other guardian. Customers aged 16 to 17 require the presence and consent of at least one legal guardian. Suitable identification is required.
4. Tattoo deposits: A deposit secures the appointment and covers preparation. It is refundable only if the first appointment is cancelled at least seven working days in advance, a later cancellation is demonstrably outside the customer's control, or the artist cancels for reasons within the artist's control. No refund is due once tattooing or design work has started. Designs are not handed over after cancellation. Deposits are credited against the total price, or the final session where there are several sessions. Replacement appointments are subject to the provisions of the German terms.
5. Conditions for treatment: Treatment may be refused where safe performance is not possible, including intoxication, relevant medication, unapproved topical anaesthetics, illness or allergy, inadequate hygiene, inability to consent, pregnancy or breastfeeding, unsuitable anatomy, or unsafe behaviour. Written consent is required before each appointment.
6. Cover-ups: Complete coverage cannot be guaranteed. Existing pigment may cause visual changes, skin reactions or scarring.
7. Laser-treated skin: Previous laser treatment may affect quality and durability. Liability is excluded for resulting colour changes, scarring, healing problems or other unwanted effects to the extent permitted by law.
8. Lettering: Customers must verify spelling before tattooing begins. No liability is accepted for spelling errors.
9. Aftercare: Liability is excluded for complications caused by incorrect or negligent aftercare. Follow the aftercare instructions and contact the studio or, for serious problems, a dermatologist.
10. Touch-ups: A free touch-up is available only where colour loss was not caused by incorrect aftercare. Requests made more than six months after tattooing are presumed to relate to aftercare unless proven otherwise.
11. The customer grants the artist a free, worldwide and unlimited right to reproduce and publish photographs of the completed work.
12. German civil law applies in addition to these terms.
13. Palim Palim content is protected by copyright. Copying or publication requires prior permission and attribution.

Piercing appointments

1. Agreed piercing appointments are binding.
2. Cancellations or changes must be made at least 24 hours beforehand by email or via the online calendar.
3. Late cancellations or no-shows may incur a fee of 70% of the agreed price.
4. Booking a piercing appointment constitutes acceptance of this rule.
