BEFORE YOUR APPOINTMENT

Relaxed and
well prepared.

A few simple things help you
have a comfortable appointment.

01

Arrive well rested

Allow enough time and avoid rushing before and after your visit.

02

Eat and drink well

Do not arrive on an empty stomach and drink enough water beforehand.

03

Come sober

Come to your appointment without alcohol or drugs. If you are unsure, discuss preparation with us beforehand.

04

Prepare your skin

The area should be healthy and free from sunburn. Please contact us before your appointment if the skin is irritated or injured.

05

Share important information

Tell us about medical conditions, allergies and medication beforehand. Do not stop prescribed medication on your own for the appointment.

06

Wear suitable clothing

Wear comfortable, preferably dark clothing that makes the relevant area easy to reach.

AFTER YOUR APPOINTMENT

Aftercare for
good healing.

You will receive personal instructions from us.
If problems occur, medical advice is important too.

Keep your tattoo clean and calm

  1. Carefully remove the covering after the time specified for you.
  2. Clean with warm water and a mild, fragrance-free, pH-neutral wash.
  3. Gently pat dry with lint-free paper.
  4. Use the aftercare product discussed at your appointment sparingly.
  5. Follow your personal instructions for frequency and duration.
  6. If the skin flakes or itches, do not scratch or pick.

Avoid while healing

  • Touching with unwashed hands
  • Sport, heavy sweating and friction
  • Long baths and prolonged showers
  • Chafing clothing and jewellery on the tattoo
  • Sun and tanning beds
  • Other ointments without consultation

FREQUENTLY ASKED QUESTIONS

What would you
still like to know?

Open a question to read
the relevant answer.

How do I request a tattoo appointment?

Use online booking or email us. Include your idea, preferred placement and, if you have someone in mind, your chosen artist. Reference images help with the initial assessment.

How do I book with a guest artist?

Request a guest date through the artist’s profile. We will confirm the next available dates with you; our guests are not permanently in the studio.

What if I cannot attend my appointment?

Call the studio as early as possible. The terms agreed at booking apply to changes, cancellations and deposits.

Does a tattoo hurt?

Pain is personal and also depends on placement. Some discomfort is usually involved, but everyone experiences it differently.

How long does a tattoo take to heal?

Healing depends on size, placement and your skin. Your artist will explain what to watch for. A calm-looking surface does not yet mean the skin is fully healed.

Can I help design my tattoo?

Yes. Bring your ideas and references. Together with your artist, they become a design that suits you and the chosen placement.

Does a piercing hurt?

The piercing can feel briefly uncomfortable. How strongly you feel it depends on you and the placement.

How long does a piercing take to heal?

Depending on the piercing and placement, healing can take a few weeks to several months. Claudia will explain what to expect at your appointment.

When can I change my piercing jewellery?

Have the first jewellery change done at the studio. The jewellery length may need adjusting during healing. Claudia will tell you when this makes sense; do not change it yourself too early.

What should I do if there are problems while healing?

Seek prompt medical advice for increasing pain, redness, pus, fever or persistent bleeding. The studio can help with aftercare questions but cannot replace a medical examination. If infection is suspected, do not remove the jewellery without medical advice.
